Welding Factory Current Monitoring
Automatic current monitoring for 12 welding machines with CSV storage for ERP analysis.
PnP IoTs installed a wired Ethernet data-acquisition system at four factory locations. Current measurements from welding machines are collected automatically and stored on a mini PC.

Customer Requirement
- Monitor 12 welding machines with a maximum current of 600 A.
- Save measured values as CSV files on a mini PC.
- Provide the stored data to the customer’s ERP company for analysis.
System Configuration
| Item | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Welding machines | 12 machines |
| Installation groups | 4 factory locations |
| Maximum current | 600 A |
| RTU | PD-AMS-S8 wired Ethernet model x 4 |
| 4-20mA interface | SB0-42 |
| PC software | AutoSave |
Data flow: Current sensor → SB0-42 → Ethernet RTU → Mini PC → AutoSave CSV → ERP analysis
Operational Value
The system replaces manual current checks with continuous digital records. Current patterns can support machine-use analysis, workload comparison, abnormal-condition review, and production reporting.
Sales Message: Existing welding machines can be connected to factory data systems using industrial current sensors, modular RTUs, and standard CSV files.
