Make existing industrial signals visible and usable

The gas management facility needed a practical way to collect differential-pressure data, confirm communication status and transfer field values to its own server without replacing existing sensors or safety equipment.

  • Collect differential-pressure sensor values from the gas management facility.
  • Convert standard 4–20mA industrial current signals into digital data.
  • Transfer values and communication status to an external server.
  • Keep field installation and server programming flexible for customer integration.

PnP IoTs Solution

PnP IoTs supplied a PD-AWS-P8 RTU and five SB0-420 input modules and provided integration consulting. The modules convert industrial sensor signals, while the RTU collects the values and sends them to the customer’s server over Wi-Fi and TCP/IP.
