Forging Factory Temperature Monitoring
Eight high-temperature points are monitored centrally with R-type and K-type thermocouples while the existing temperature system remains in operation.

Add independent records without replacing the original system
The forging factory needed centralized visibility for six R-type and two K-type thermocouples. A separate acquisition system was installed so the factory’s existing temperature equipment could continue operating.

PnP IoTs Solution
PnP IoTs installed four PD-AWS-S8 RTUs and eight SB1-TM thermocouple modules. The delivered modules were configured for the customer’s fixed R-type and K-type requirements, creating an independent monitoring path to AutoSave on the office PC.

Customized for fixed thermocouple requirements
The standard SB1-TM supports thermocouple-type selection. For this project the delivered configuration was customized around the factory’s fixed six R-type and two K-type channels, simplifying field operation and identification.
