Welding Factory Current Monitoring
Current data from 12 welding machines is collected over wired Ethernet and stored as CSV files for production and ERP analysis.

Replace manual current checks with continuous digital records
The customer needed automatic current monitoring across 12 welding machines at four factory locations. Measurements had to be stored on a mini PC and shared with the company’s ERP partner for further analysis.
Customer Challenge
- Monitor 12 welding machines with currents up to 600 A.
- Distribute acquisition equipment across four factory locations.
- Use stable wired Ethernet communication on the production floor.
- Store measured values automatically as CSV files.
- Provide accessible records for ERP and production analysis.
PnP IoTs Solution
PnP IoTs installed industrial current sensors, SB0-42 interfaces and four PD-AMS-S8 wired-Ethernet RTUs. AutoSave collects the measurements on a mini PC and creates standard CSV files that can be used by the customer and its ERP company.
From field measurement to usable records
